Speakers and Sessions Update - as of 5/29/26
We have received 72 abstracts—thank you all for your submissions!
Our Selection Committee has reviewed and scored each abstract. We are now in the process of organizing and placing sessions into the conference agenda. As you can imagine, this takes a bit of time to complete.
We plan to finalize the agenda over the weekend and will begin contacting all selected speakers on Monday, June 1 & Tuesday, June 2.
Thank you again for your participation—we are excited about the strong interest in this year’s program!

May 15 - Call for Abstracts Closes
Week of May 18, 2026 - Speaker Selection Committee Meeting
Updated: Week of May 25 - Selected Speakers will be notified June 1 & 2
June 2 - Conference Registration Opens
August 28, 2026 - Hotel Room Block closes
September 14, 2026 - Conference Registration Closes
September 20, 2026 - Conference begins:
- Workshops 1:00pm - 4pm (To be determined)
- Exhibitor Set-up 4pm - 6pm
- Map Gallery Set up 4pm - 6pm
September 22, 2026 - Conference ends by 4:00pm (To be determined by number of presentations submitted).
Cliff Lovin Scholarship - 2026 Scholarship Application is now open
The Cliff Lovin Scholarship is available to students majoring in geography or engineering and attending a college or university in the State of Ohio. The scholarship intends to support the geospatial industry by helping students interested in careers related to the field.
